Imagine putting funk on such a high cultural level that it seems like it would never reach: MASP.
We broke the elitist and consecrated bubble of a renowned Museum in the Center of São Paulo and used its free space to occupy space with a funk museum to place it on the art level and show all the people who pass by on the most touristic avenue in the city Latin America that this musical genre is part of our country's culture. But, the difference is that this museum is inclusive, of the people and for the people, starting where funk started: on the street, that's why we did it below the MASP (Museu De Arte De São Paulo).
